Quality Assurance Plan

The central tenet of VRMC’s quality assurance program focuses on continuous process improvement. This quality assurance approach is applied consistently across all production sites. Each member of the VRMC Team involved in the production of system components has implemented a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) to ensure a consistent quality approach across all team members and sites. VRMC uses a “systems approach” to the design, development, integration, test and support of VR systems that are integrated into treatment programs. Given the treatment objectives, we use interdisciplinary teams to put together the hardware, software , realistic scenarios and diagnostic tools and features to meet the needs of the therapist and the patient. The ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 Quality Management System is utilized to ensure the integrity and support of the quality program. At VRMC, we implement a comprehensive risk management program that works in concert with the quality assurance program to facilitate early identification and effective mitigation of risks, and to ensure that all activities remain on schedule and within budget.
